The Friends of UNRWA arranged successful trip to visit UNRWA facilities in Jordan for concerned citizens

In October of 2006, Dr. Chuck Dietzen founder of the Timmy Foundation and Sally Brown, President of the Ambassadors for Children, will lead a group of Indianapolis citizens on a special trip to Jordan. The group of concerned citizens spent a day visiting refugee camps, medical facilities, hospitals, and met with refugees all receiving humanitarian services provided by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) helping Palestine refugees in Jordan. The United States has been and continues to be the largest single nation donor to UNRWA for the last 56 years.

The trip was arranged through the USA non-profit organization known as the Friends of UNRWA based in New York City and included Dr. Guido Sabatinelli, Director of UNRWA Health Services, based in Amman, Jordan.
