American Friends of UNRWA honors the life of Dr. Robert Semine

American Friends of UNRWA honors the life of Dr. Robert Semine of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 15, 2011. Dr. Semine was a respected radiologist, former Olympian, and beloved husband and father. He leaves behind a sister, Marie-Louise, and three children, Dr. Christian Semine and his wife Deborah, Dr. Alan Semine and his wife Janis and Dr. Nicolas Semine and his wife Dr. Drucilla Roberts. He leaves his grandchildren, Charlie and his wife Roxanne, Jason, Katie, Laura, Simret and Simenesh.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dr. Semine’s memory were contributed to American Friends of UNRWA to support the development of breast cancer screening centers for UNRWA refugees. These screening centers will increase early detection and treatment of breast cancer, helping to save thousands of lives in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, the West Bank and Gaza. American Friends of UNRWA sincerely thanks Dr. Semine’s family and friends for their great generosity as we continue to honor his memory.
